WORD DIARY: SUNDAY JULY 26, 2020

Recognize connectivity!..

1 Cor 12:14 Now the body is not made up of one part but of many.

Recognize differences!

1 Cor 12:15-16 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body. And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body.

Recognize connectivity!

1 Cor 12:17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?

Recognize interdependence!

John 19:14 It was the day of Preparation of Passover Week, about the sixth hour.
"Here is your king," Pilate said to the Jews.

Let us pray: O Lord, the King of kings, we adore you in Jesus name

Life questions: 1. Do you recognize the connection with other believers?

2. How does this connection affect your relationship with others?

Postscript
Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a bible believing church near you.
