WORD DIARY: MONDAY JULY 6, 2020

Reject every spirit of idolatry!..

1 Cor 10:5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert.

Grace to overcome temptation!

1 Cor 10:6 Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.

Be on guard!

1 Cor 10:7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry."

Reject every spirit of idolatry!

John 18:28 Then the Jews led Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman governor. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness the Jews did not enter the palace; they wanted to be able to eat the Passover.

Let us pray: O Lord, protect us from all evil in Jesus name

Life questions: 1. Is there anything that has taken the place of God in your life?

2.  How do you demonstrate your love for God?
