WORD DIARY: SATURDAY NOVEMBER 15 2014

Psalms 138:1-2 I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; before the "gods" I will sing your praise. I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.

Nothing will take your place in my life, O Lord #PastorBasil

Psalms 138:3 When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stouthearted.

The Lord that answers by fire is my God! #PastorBasil

Psalms 138:6 Though the Lord is on high, he looks upon the lowly, but the proud he knows from afar.

O Lord grant me a contrite heart! #PastorBasil

Isaiah 27:12-13 In that day the Lord will thresh from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you, O Israelites, will be gathered up one by one.  And in that day a great trumpet will sound. Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

Let us pray: O Lord, revive, restore and refresh us in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and as every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a bible believing church near you. For comments, questions and general counsel follow me at basil.chukwuezi on Facebook,  @BasilChukwuezi on Twitter and  my blog,  http://kingdomstreet.blogspot.com. All scriptures are from the New International Version (NIV). God bless you.
